Introduction to the Revolutionary War
The Revolutionary War was, without a doubt, the most important battle of American history because if we had never rebelled against the British power, we probably wouldn't be a free coutry right now. Many factors played major roles in our victory against the greatest power at the time.
- Both sides had multiple strategies and tactics used against each other.
- They also had many different weapons. For example the Continental Army used rifles that had a spiral in the barrel for farther, more accurate fire while the British had muskets.
- The U.S had a group of spies on the British side to feed them important information.
- The U.S also had an elite group who played hit and run with the British to weaken them slowly but steadily, eventually leaving them with no leader.
- And lastly, there were many people who deserve recognition for their contributions to the war and played a major part in the U.S victory.
